Slowly replacing all the tools I lost in the fire. Been working out of a little 4 drawer chest and some tubs. So I've been looking for a roller chest.
Heres a tool box I made a deal on with the manager at Lowes the other day.
They had dropped it off the truck on delivery to the store. It has some damage that will be pretty easy for me to fix. It was listed at $600. Sold to me for $300 out the door as is.
Nice! Congrats. A little tappy-tap with a body hammer and you'll have it back in shape easily
i have a similar one w a wood top . the top has been nice to work with to act as a second workbench. just a suggestion to add a top to it.. thats a decent deal on that. roller bearing drawers, etc.?

Same as yours except for the full width top drawer. Yes on the roller soft closing drawers and it should have the wood top but the fall destroyed it I was told. I'll cut a piece of 3/4" plywood for it.
The only thing I don't like are the plastic wheels. I'll probably get some nice steel ones for it.
ueah, mine are steel and i think its 32" deep. there was a 24" variant as well. good deal on that box
After repairs.
It looks better at distance.. some areas Impossible to get to as it has a lot of structure support interior.
It will be just fine as is.

I'm proud to say my RD400E motor was the first thing to scar up the top of this toolbox/workbench. :olaf:
Thanks guys.
Slowly getting back to where I was.
I bought a similar one with an additional level that sits on-top. I managed to drop the top part when unloading as I stepped on my dog. dent is only at the rear, so not a big deal
