Title: RD 350 Stock Carbs
Post by: 2 Smoker on October 01, 2024, 11:58:41 AM
Question is this, should I run my stock carbs with the Dave F mod or replace with new carbs. Engine is stage II port with stock cages with TDR reeds. :umm:

I am biased. But I love the TM32s I put on my (stock porting with chambers and Vintage Smoke igntion) 75RD350B. They made a huge difference in performance and driveability.

I do not plan on retaining the stock air box.
I will also be installing the Vape ignition and a
Rebuilt crank

they are going to be on the LH side for the most part. get a long screwdriver.  you can get to them. they should have to be fiddled with much f at all after its dialed in.

are you talking about the SLIDE (idle) SCREW or the AIR screw? big difference. I mod mine to put the idle screw on the left and right, its just an m5 drill and tap and an M5 plug screw. takes like 10-15 mins.  but, that's not the air screw.   :twocents:

its fine but was wondering because the air screw would require a left and right casting difference.
