Title: Warped Brake Rotor
Post by: jradnich on October 01, 2024, 10:53:08 PM
My RD400's front brake rotor has about .007" warpage. In the past, I tried machining one mounted on the hat in a Ammco brake lathe. The result wasn't too good. Had a hard time chucking it and the lathe didn't seem to like the rotor material. Has anyone had any luck machining them? if so, how did you do it?

i got mine surface ground locally. you arent going to get it on a lathe. take of off the center and have it ground.
