Sorry to mention a 4T, but here is a result from outer space. It's not like there are half a dozen for sale right now for a 1/4 (or less) the price. This 1986 Yamaha Radian sold for $33,000:

i know there's deals to be had.. but, I always feel this is the worst part of the hobby, where greed and stupidity often collide.

Just like cars. They will become investments for the rich to play with.

Speaking of which, here is one of the sales that is beyond both ^ (must be a solid-gold whoop-ass fairing!), and basically the same bike that showed up on Yesterday's PHX CraigsList. The CL bike for $3K has 1/4th the miles too:

$2995:

I bid on one of the 1910 American Belt-Drive singles, but didn't win it. Sadly, collector auctions are the only place these true rarities show up. Anyone see that 1915 Cyclone? $1.32 MILLION -

There was also a '79 RD400F that went for $22K, and an RZ350 for $20K. I remember being amazed when they hit $10K.
