Got a text from a wheeler-dealer friend who's had this Kat in another friend's shop since '23, looking to sell. I'd seen the bike a few times before, and thought it might be a better two-up mount than the RZ. For $700 with a clear title DELIVERED, I couldn't say no, and it was in the garage a few hours later. The usual: tires, battery, brake fluid and almost certainly a fuel system cleaning, then hopefully some summer rides with my lady. This little garage keeps getting smaller...
yeah, cant go wrong for 700 bucks. nice score
Love Suzuki
Great bike for the price
Thats a good deal.Just dont call that a Katana on any European forums

First test ride tonight is a mixed bag: idle is OK, but I'm not 100% happy with my synch job. Top end is ferocious, but the transition onto the needles is fluffy. I think the fuel screws will take care of it.
Pretty comfortable and the ride is nice, but that Yosh is 'kin LOUD. I might be too old to make this much noise...and I usually ride an RZ w/Toomeys!
Anyway, I will leave the bodywork off for now, as the carbs may be coming out again. They're a lot easier to take out than my old CB750F!
Wade thats a nice score, you do the paint work?
No, it came this way. It's a bit much for my mature taste, but I also can't see much paint when I'm riding it.
at least it isn't furred out. looks like fun.. and my kz is louder than my rd, so I get it. even w the dB killer in. but it does sound healthy :boom:
Sweet dude!
