Title: Does anyone have a stock lower seat trim piece? RD250B
Post by: grcamna3 on April 22, 2025, 12:07:41 AM
I just bought my RD250B and the person who installed the new seat cover never re-installed the trim piece:I miss it.
Does anyone have one ?

It's just referred to as "seat trim" usually. There are a few on eBay but not cheap. Not sure why the one guy has such a high shipping cost either.

The trim attachment rivets and clips are available from HVC and Yambits.

How do you think HVC and Yambits parts are?
The seat-trim really makes the seat look great and I want to match it as best I can to original. The sites are both .com?
I Just read your post and haven't looked yet.

I always use John at Economy Cycle (https://www.economycycle.com/) for all my parts because he's a 2SW forum supporter (unless there's something he doesn't carry, which isn't much).

HVC Cycle (https://hvccycle.net/seat-products/) - US-based (Lincoln, NE) parts supplier for vintage bikes
Yambits (https://yambits.co.uk/seats_parts_for_yamaha_rd250_a_and_b.html) - UK-based parts supplier for OE and reproduction parts for vintage Yamaha bikes.
