One minor correction: It's actually not an "A" model, as that would be a 1974

Thanks SoCal, my bad ... the pre-A is all fixed!

And thanks all for the encouraging words on the bike.
What prompted the build was because of a nearly-stock RD400F Daytona I sold about 15 years ago to a guy in Florida; a year later at the 2010 Barber Cycle Week rally I saw a guy riding around on an identical but modified Daytona with 260 DTLS and Chambers - I flagged him down to compliment him on the build and it turned out to be my old bike! The fuse was lit :love eyes:
