Title: 1979 Yamaha RD400F Daytona Special , NR - BaT - Orleans, MA

(not mine)
Belong to anyone here or anyone know the bike? It has some nice performance upgrade. Noticed a few things. For one the tach is incorrect and doesn't work. Not sure what's going on with the rearset on the brake side. Don't think I've ever seen a Moto Carrera brake lever linkage set up like that, it's pushing the opposite direction of normal.

That seems like a nice looking, sounding bike and in my home state of Ma. I wonder if it's actually been to the tail of the dragon? The auction states it was repainted but I'm not sure that it is the original color.  Oh yeah a no reserve auction. Should be interesting.

Repainted but that was over 25 years ago, and with Nissan pearl white paint. The side cover decal is a little crooked. Strange that there are two sets of chambers in the included invoices. The installed pipes are definitely Spec-II and there's a 1998 invoice from Gary,. And there's a 2012 invoice for another set of pipes from the UK.

But hey, "No Reserve" Can't argue with that
