Title: How to prime oil pump with no wheel
Post by: SDDaytona on June 18, 2025, 02:33:02 PM
I'm replacing the oil lines on my Daytona but the oil pump doesn't have the white plastic wheel. How do I go about priming the new oil lines?
Thanks

bleed it w the screw, gravity. if you're concerned about the lines being empty,  use a syringe and fill them from the pump side .  I'll be honest, I just pull the cable wide open and run it. if it's a fresh motor, use a remote furl tank w premix to do this.  should get to the cyls thru the oil lines in about a minute or less. 0.02
