Title: DG Head work needed
Post by: Scooterror on August 05, 2025, 07:01:45 PM
I have a set of unused DG heads for an rd350. The cylinders will run weisco pistons and run on pump gas. I would like the combustion bowls re cut to safely run modern pumpgas. Anyone have suggestions on who to talk to?
Thanks in advance!

Is S.Clough still working? No website anymore and his mailbox is full when I call. HVC no longer do that work, Vintage Smoke seems to be closed and forum members such as Chuck "Supertune" that could do the work in 2019 don't seem to be around anymore. Thoughts, suggestions?

Oddly enough I was stumbling with the same thing. Mark suggested Ed Toomey and he got back to me extremely quick. Theres also VP in Sandown NH that could do it as well  (https://vintageperformanceproducts.com/)

Ed has one hell of a business going for him. I talked with him last year when he did my RD crank and he was in process of moving to a larger building. The guy has so much work it's coming out his ears.

 That's too bad. Haven't spoken with him in quite a while. Very nice guy!
