I hear this is one hot little 250.
Does anyone on here own one? and how do you like it ?
I had a 1996 RGV250SP for a few years. Sold it on BaT in Dec 2023:

Probably the most fun I've ever had on two wheels, but I needed to thin my herd a bit hence the sale. Being so light the power to weight ratio was impressive even in unmodified form. My particular bike was a JDM import and parts are very hard to come by. The plumbing for the oil injection is fiendishly complex, which would keep me up at night thinking about those tiny rubber pipes perishing with age! It's gone to a good home:)
I've got a few. Of all the JDM 250's the RGV is the easiest to HP out of it.
My VJ23SP put down 63HP at the rear tire, my VJ21SP with 300 kit put down mid 70's when on the dyno, and now pulls even better with different carbs since dyno.

I rode a friend's RGV250 at the Gap and I loved it. The handling is superb. I thought about getting one but the high cost of the bike and parts availability kept me from it. I have 5 bikes and that is enough for me.
Hot ! :burnout:
