Other markets got spoked wheels as an option for the RD400 (and '76+ RD250) so you need to check England and Germany.
1A3-25311-00 HUB, REAR (spoke wheel)
1U5-W2531-00 HUB, REAR (spoke wheel)

No not the bike weight. The rims sure seem light BUT, when I weighed the wheels agents stock with AVONs weight was the same.
I am told the continental classic are heaver.

yeah, I was referring to total bike weight. You've made a lot of mods and additions and was just curious if it was lighter or heavier than stock.

I was in awe when I bought my aluminum rims for my rd350 couldn't stop looking at them.  reminded me when I laced up my old BMX in the 80s when I was able to afford good hubs and aluminum rims; great feeling indeed.  Jumped off the loading dock at the city college trying to impress some girls and totally bent the back rim and ate shit and of course they all laughed at me  :'( bad feeling indeed.

gold spoked rims were always a goal, got mine .mounted back in ealy 15. then also crashed but didn't hurt the wheels. this was earlier this year
