Title: Petcock rebuild vs new
Post by: soonerbillz on January 16, 2026, 07:05:49 PM
My LT3 petcock needs everything new. It's real messed up.
I can buy all new oem parts for it but it will cost me over 60 bucks.
I can buy a aftermarket replacement for about 20 bucks. I haven't had the greatest luck doing it either way. Leaning towards rebuilding.
 What are you guys doing?

Pipe style with a double threaded seal nut.

possible to post a picture of it? I have a couple new aftermarket ones here I bought hoping it might work on some of my dirt bikes but didn't pan out (win some, lose some, etc).

They never got mounted or ran gas through them.
