don't know what to make of this?

trying to get some of the grom market
yeah the article made that direct comparison for the CL version, but crickets on the SS version. Almost like it is aimed at what used to be YSR market but updated technology and 4T instead of 2T motor.
this ad in my local Craigslist shows more of the SS version...

I sat on one of those at Laguna last summer during MotoAmerica weekend. CFMoto had a tent in the manufacturer area
The SS? What was your impression of the quality and overall package?

Yes I sat on them both but I was primarily checking out the SS and even had a friend take a photo of me sitting on it. (I double checked when it was and turns out it was way back in July 2024.) As I recall, it was very small, even more so than my RD125, and because of the short bars and peg position it even felt smaller and more confined than my MB5. For the price it seemed reasonable, but as you would expect at this price point from a newish brand the build quality and components appeared to be a little on the weak side, much like when the RC390 first came out. And if I remember right the MSRP was only $3299.
I didn't get to ride it that day but they were offering demo rides. I have read that they're pretty slow since the 125cc puts out less than 10 HP. I guess it might be fun for putting around town or around the neighborhood.
like said. Basically grom market. fwiw my 15 390 duke had the sane ergonomic triangle as my 2014 grom. I have pics somewhere.
Seen it. Cfmoto just trying to be part of the scene with the mini bike concept. I would have loved one when I was younger. The dual headlight is a beautiful look though
