Anybody tried these or heard any feedback . they are priced at 399.00 plus 130.00 plus tax. Should a little less than 600.00 delivered. I was just looking to see if anyone had tried them. I may have to be the Guinea Pig.

no personal experience myself, some here can better speak to that. Where are you seeing them- eBay? Keep in mind the tariffs and possible long delays right now. I used to buy spoke sets, replica seat covers, AL rims and even full cafe seats from Thailand over the years with no problem, but even before the current tariff environment shipping prices really jumped last couple years.
everything ive seen, they have fitment issues and ive never seen an actual dyno run. the sellers are also really cagey on details. id be very concerned w stainless ones that weren't back purged, etc. that being said, IF you have the ability to modify them If they don't fit might be worth the risk to try them.ive never seen an actual 3rd party report on a successful install and run.0.02
A guy from this forum (blue 400) referred me to a manufacturer on FB. I then referred my friend to the same FB manufacturer. They may all be the same as these eBay pipes, BUT they sound nice and crispy, at least at idle. $350 for the pipes, and around $30 for the tariff as I recall. It was low.
He did have to modify his set, but that was more related to his modern (R3) swing arm. The franken-bike is something to behold.
I look forward to feeling the power delivery soon, relative to my Spec 2s. There's different FB seller (TRC exhaust?) that was selling stainless for $350 not long ago. I also saw dyno results for his pipes, but I think it was for an RD60, or a different smaller displacement bike. I clearly wasted a lot of time on this topic 🤣 :vroom:
theres a guy on ebay selling similar, prob the same guy, spitfire. they are cheap enough i might buy a set and just test em. ive blown way more on less. at least on ebay theres some recourse if things go south. transferring $ to some rando thru WhatsApp is a non starter for me
Can't speak for the pipes except obviously one takes their chances. I will say, you are not kidding that is a very cool resto mod of an RD. Quite an eye catcher.

I believe both guys paid via PayPal. At least I know for a fact that one guy did.
I've spent 1/4 of that on master cylinders and brake fluid, today alone! :stupid-1:

I had to screen shot that comment and send it his way. That particular bike has fought him every minute, of every hour, of everyday.
All I can tell you:
R3 bits + RD350 + a skilled garage mechanic = the FrankenBike
I'm sure he'll appreciate that
my 2ct worth, back in late 2024 I got in contact with a guy ( Putra Putra) in Indonesia about a set that were like rainbow color, the price was right ( $400 USD + free shipping) and it was before the tariffs. when I asked about tuning or dyno results He went silent. made my wonder ....so I am sticking with my Dougs GP with FMF silencers. only reason I was looking because before me owning bike the kick stand flattened out a section ,which I now have the HVC kick stand extender.
@~JM~ bought a set from Indonesia or Malaysia or somewhere over there. He's pretty stoked on them.
