I placed an order from Yambits in Dec. and just today have received a bill from Fedex for the DUTIES,TAXES,AND FEES. :rolleyes: oh well such is life. I guess they don't have to bill you at the time of shipment, cause the bill came six months later.
Guess I can expect a bill at some point.

The bill was 38.00, and the purchase amount was $245.00. makes you wonder, I thought it was all good, and then here came another bill. kinda sounds like dealing with health care.
My bill from FedEx was 10% of my Yambits order that was 8 months ago.
I just ordered a Zeel ignition tester from The Tuning Works in the UK... we will see what finally tally is in a couple weeks
I got taxed with several tariffs, and then had to pay the shipping company on top of that as well on various other euro only parts, previously...
After ignoring the 1st bill from FedEx, the 2nd bill just arrived with "PAST DUE" on it. :whistle:
I ordered a couple of dzus fasteners via eBay from the UK, and eBay kept warning me that I'd have to pay the carrier import duties before delivery. USPS stuck 'em in my mailbox and didn't look back. It's been two weeks...
I'm a bit worried if I don't pay FedEx they will turn it over to a collection agency.
I'm sure the various mail/shipping companies keep track of past due bills. They are big companies and seriously doubt they just blow them off. Or stop delivery of anything else from them, until bill is paid.
I paid 150£ for my Zeel tester, and 40£ for shipping. DHL just sent email yesterday saying I need to pay $38 tariff before they deliver.
Or they send back in 5 days...
I paid, because I want the tester, and I knew I would have to pay something.

3rd bill from FedEx arrived, "Final notice, past due, to prevent further action pay immediately", so I paid it.
At least you kept that $$ in your account as long as possible
