Title: Jim lomas race pipes and sidestand rd400

So
Got my hvc cycle sidestand 'kit' and my sidestand mounted.. It sits allright

But when i Got the pipes on, No way in h... The sidestand Cant clear the pipes when up
I have tried mounting the pipes with the mounting bracket on Both sides of the vintage smoke brackets, but to No succes..

Anyone have Any advice or idea or solution? :)

Put some rubber on it... Seems I heard that somewhere else before.  :umm:

Dangit...

Just tried to see where it hitting, it seems as It is the spring hitting First regardless of i put some rubber on it 😁

Anyone Else?
Cant Be that the sidestand Cant be used

I used an oxy torch to heat and bend the stand to follow the shape of the pipes as well as using the EC spacer kit to lengthen it/move it out.

It took both to get there and it would benefit from a rubber for protection.
