you're braver than me on those chilly commutes. Love the Falcon. My favorite years were 64/65. Would gladly take a Sprint V8 from that era! Even a convertible  :cool:

not too chilly. yeah i always liked the round body falcons, but dig the 64-65 fairlanes (similar styling). ive had that 62 since...2010 maybe? still a 6 cyl but a later 200, and still rocking the 2 speed auto fordomatic  :lol:  it just works well. i need to get the disc conversion on it though. still on drums but a dual master was added, no fruit jar of death  :shocked:

lol,never heard fruit jar of death  :dawg: IIRC the old Falcon engine bays could hold a small V-8, like maybe a 260 cu or something they made before the 289?

you can stuff a Windsor in there, 260 to 302, all the same width until the 351w. i have no desire to do that to this car.

I'd go with a fairlane as the unibody is stronger . also this car us fairly unmolested. mechsnically, its the same as a 64 1/2 mustang, all the suspension parts swap, even the fuel tank etc
