Title: Fuel line nub came out of carb body
Post by: Membername on July 14, 2019, 04:52:39 PM
I'm attaching the fuel lines (freeline) onto the carbs and the fuel connector came out of the carb body.  Do I just push it back in or do I need to glue it with something?

Thanks,
Karen

I've had that happen a couple times on older carbs. I clean it well use a bit of Loctite 609 stud and bearing mount for insurance. Hasn't failed me yet.

Happens a lot...
Take it off the fuel line, lay it on it's side on the flat of your vice or steel work bench and use a small hammer a give it a slight wack to make it a bit out of round, clean with thinner, then use loctite and tap it back in place, let dry 24 hrs.
Good to go.
