Title: Ignition switch
Post by: MRDRcycle on October 18, 2026, 12:59:18 AM
I recently got this rd350 ignition switch. It looks like I'm missing 2 tiny screws/bolts that hold the 3 pieces together. Does anyone know where to get these at or is it a lost cause?

Having fooled with switches on my bike for the last 4 weeks, you'll save yourself a significant amount of headache by replacing it with a repop or finding one on eBay.

I looked at mine, and can't see how it would come apart without a fair bit of force.

i think those are m4s. I've repaired a LOT of switches in my time. nothing special tbh. does that switch fit the key to the bike? if so, i can fix it pretty easily. or you can. i have a box of parts for these, if i remember ill take it down get some pics. they are pretty easy to work on

I was also scrubbing eBay as well. If it can be fixed I'd rather do than over risking an eBay purchase.

The key fits the ignition. I can mail it to you with cash to fix or if the parts are easy to get on my side, that works too. I'm game either way!

My brother helped me put together my bike long ago and gave me his ignition switch. I'm trying to reel him back in to getting his bike going by refurbishing his gauge cluster:)
