I just had the opportunity to put a face with the name. Dropped my motor off to Chuck to have him work some magic on it.
Super excited for the next section of my build. I'm hoping to have the frame cleaned up and ready for mock-up by the time I get it back. Now what colors on a colorless bike? Keep thinking I should keep the frame and tank black. Everything that I could vapor hone, I did. Yep maybe black silver and touches of white in the decals. May try to ghosts the decals so nothing pops to much. Maybe tank should be a dark silver/charcoal.
Either way I'm stoked. Chuck is a real nice guy.
yup.
my project bike is so basic, i da'd the tank raw steel and cleared it. no color. lol.
+1 for Chuck.
Looking forward to getting my LC topend back and getting on with my project. 👍

PDX, Your LC cylinders are ported! Just have to polish the exhaust ports, chamfer the port edges and get boxed up over the weekend!
Great to meet you Joshua, your parts you vapor honed are beautiful!
I put a set of calipers on the bores and found out the one cylinder is 64.50mm and the other is still standard 64.00mm.
Going to put in a dial bore gauge in the 64.50mm and see exactly what size it is...
Finishing Nick's Stg 1 RD400 today as tomorrow is Nick's Big Day to come and pick it up after way too long, as it was in sad state when it got here!
Looks way better now after going through the whole bike!
