1977 Yamaha RD400 Two Stroke - $7000
Selling my 1977 RD400 Two Stroke. Serious offers only, no test rides without cash in hand. I don't need to sell this bike so please don't waste your time with low ball offers.
This bike has been built from the ground up. Every single part has been restored or upgraded, you will not find a cleaner RD400. Chuck "Supertune" Quenzler did all the Engine machining. Bike is reliable and scary fast, runs nice and smooth well over a 100mph.
Too many upgrades to list but here are a few key updates:
Vintage Smoke Electronic ignition and new wire harness uncut
Port motor to fit banshee reeds, machined heads, rebuilt crank
VM32 carbs turned down to fit stock manifolds and tapped to run stock oil injection pump
Two sets of pipes. Motor Carrera pipes that are great for high RPM and making a ton of speed. DG pipes that are more balanced and quite for city riding
All suspension parts have been updated
That's a great looking and probably a great running RD. He might get close to what he's asking.
