Title: Yamaha Ignition Tester
Post by: Diablo007 on September 15, 2019, 04:04:06 AM
Found a 'Yamaha Ignition Tester' in the shop today.  Manufactured by 'Electro-Specialties, Inc. Milwaukee, Wisconsin'.  Part number written on the box is, 908-90910-22'.  No instructions in the box.

Does anyone have the instructions for this, or know how to use it?  I'll try to post pics tomorrow if I have time.

So...I used the part number in the URL for the eBay link for a Kawasaki tester that turned up in a search I did to search for a manual. The two are so similar that I'm pretty certain they are the same, just branded with marque of motorcycle. The search turned up a Kawasaki snowmobile manual with tests using the meter. I haven't had time to read everything, but this sheds a lot of light on the tester. I had a feeling that the instructions were embedded in the manuals of the motorcycles that it was used on. Now I just need to go through my manual library to confirm...don't see that happening anytime soon though.

File is too big so PM me if interested in reading it.
