Hello!
I am after a single oil injection nipple that goes into the carb body.
Where can these be purchased or does anyone have a spare?
Thanks!

Wondering if the new ones will fit tighter. Had to zip tie mine in place. Occasionally, I find them working their way out of the carbs - scary.

I need a couple of these for my PWKs.
Would much prefer they were aluminum not plastic.
Was planning on gluing them in with JB or something.

				Hmmm,
Wonder if there is somewhere else that sells them.  Not really into being charged $13 shipping on a $7.5 item.  Could ship this for a buck.
Anyone have a spare around for a tenner delivered?

we could ship you one first class mail if you call the order in and ask. or we have them on ebay below. Our shipping on the website is flat rate so for most orders works out to the customer's advantage.

I've actually designed this part with my 3D printer. Just need to get the brass part for it.

It would be really cool to have a 3d print version designed as a plug for people running premix :umm:  Unfortunately I do not have those design capabilities.  I know you can tap it and put a bolt in etc but it would be nice to have something that you could go back to the pump if you choose to.

you can just use a vacuum cap on the stock nipple. or, just connect the 2 carbs with a vacuum line between them.  ive done it, its fine, doesn't affect running whatsoever.

Thanks, yes I have the vacuum caps on there now, was just thinking it would be a cleaner look.  Ironically I even work for the company that makes most of the vacuum caps for the auto industry:)  I might try connecting them, never thought of that

Fair point, not from us...  Trust me I have made that complaint to the product manager.  Retailers want the costs too low.

no prob. lol. i usually use vac hose and machine a plug for it, ive given up on the caps these day.

When using the stock nipples... take them out, lay on the steel pad of the vise, just the tube,  hit them with a small steel hammer to oval them just a little, then brake clean and loctite in with green sleeve retainer 640. Go slow with tapping them back in, don't want to break the plastic.
For those that want to go premix, tap hole and use a phillips ss machine screw with some Yambond or Motoseal. I have to look at the shop to see the screw size. No drilling the hole, if you want to go back to nipples... heat screw with a hair dryer, remove, clean with lacquer thinner and then use the above method to re-install factory nipples.
No drama or failures using these tips and tricks ...

m4x.7 tap goes right in.  :cheerleader:

Thank you Chuck! I was worried about ovaling it and making a leak path but you showed the way
I'll keep an eye out for you and your yellow 400 at Barber in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the offers from Economy Cycle to sort my issue.
I ended up ordering from Yambits along with some other stuff I needed for this one.

I've used Yambits ones in the past, they just need a light tap in and are a nice secure fit.

Thanks Old Brit.  That is exactly what I did and how I like them to fit (until they have to hopefully never be removed).
I did find a bit of the casting plastic had to be scrapped off the edges but no big deal.
