Excellent story! What you have (IMO) is the "epitome" of a period correct hot rod. I would personally just refurbish what you have now and go with it. Maybe acquire all the stock pieces as you go. Doing the stock concourse restoration can get very pricey.

I got my set from Yambits. Came with T-handle and was fairly inexpensive.

Sell all your stuff to Dennis! He's always looking for parts to add to his stash, and instead of having 7 or 8 of everything he'll end up with 10 or 11!

there's also a picture of the license plate that shows Wash 2025 Sept. - how did he get a current plate issued if there's a waiting period for the title?

In Washington you have it inspected by the state patrol, you can then register it and get a plate. You then have to wait three years for the title.
