My favorite paint job EVER. It's up there with the KR RZ and the green DS6C. I have two of these Mark, ones going to be on the chopping block once I get it cleaned up.

I backed out at 1300. Figured it might take awhile to sell. Its not listed in Medina Ohio for $3500.

I would do some math on the entire stack. Assume every friction and steel is at the max spec. Figure out the max stack size. Do the same for the min. Does you stack fit inside those parameters?

Quote from: 2steve on March 31, 2025, 04:00:05 PMI keep looking at this and thinking it might work. Anyone have experience with a TZR125 non-vacuum petcock bolting right in?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/356668611721?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=4rdBxqgyRIa&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=7egArasDSuy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

If there's half a chance, I might try it out.
I'll pull it off and go take some measurements. Now that I think about it. My petcock doesn't have a vacuum line connected. Maybe it's already been modified or maybe the PO didn't know what they were doing.... The PO wasn't the guy who raced it.

This is an ex WERA bike that I've put back on the road. I've never done much mechanically to it besides replaces the rounded off through-bolted shift shaft and put tires on it.

Anyways, the bike is starving for fuel, the second you try to get out of first gear it runs out of gas. I'm gonna tear down the carbs and the petcock and to make sure nothing is crusty as it sat since 08 (drained). I have a spare set of carbs tore down and cleaned already just want to swap brass over.

What's the best/easiest way to get the carbs detached from the cables? I'm not used to this type of setup. Figure I'd just ask before messing with it. Pic for attention day I bought it.

Scott,

He is referring solely about UK/EU parts that won't apply to us. He is correct that the early heads were prone to cracking but only when modified.
