Kinda reminds me of a Maytag.  Here's mine as found, I had it running great the same day I got it home.

Quote from: m in sc on May 30, 2024, 03:02:57 PMwelcome to the board.

Thanks!  I was semi active on here around 2013 or so and just made my new account.

Quote from: m in sc on May 31, 2024, 11:07:28 AMi don't see them on ec or yambits, but HVC seems to have them. i would go this way:

Economy Cycle does have them.  They're in and working great.
My originals perhaps could be softened up, but the sealing flange surface is eaten away to nothing.  No way I'd ever trust them.

And another question I had answered!  I didn't see the Mikuni logo molded into them like the originals, but the numbers are there.
Thanks!

Turning Wrenches / Ebay Carb Boots

Just got my '71 R5 back together after sitting blown up for almost 6 years.  Failed a leakdown test with TONS of air dumping out the intake boots.
These are the cheapo boots off ebay.
Spent a couple extra bucks on the ones that EconomyCycle carries.  The originals I have show zero signs of dry rot, but they are hard as a rock.
