Thanks Lyn, turned out the issue I've been sweating over was due to original forks being bent and twisted,  HVC cycle sell new ones, so I'll be getting a pair from them soon.

Hi all , trying to fit a drum front end on a new build, As far as I know the RD bottom tree is slightly wider than R5 (DS7). I'm pretty sure I have a top triple tree that is R5. Am I missing drum parts here ? Or my forks are bent ?, just a question to those who may have done this. I know the bottom tree is RD, but it lines up with the aforementioned R5 top tree.

Turning Wrenches / 351 and 352 codes- Australia.
October 09, 2019, 10:25:16 PM
HI all !- Ive looked through some links and found info on engine codes, from what I can gather 351 is 250, 352 is 350, is this correct?, bit of a noob dumb question but my mate Dan has an RD inboxes and we will be going through the parts and labelling up then assembling as a stock runner. he got the parts bike as an adage with another full chassis runner.

Further more his engine is: 351 11 3333. he may have the standard bodge of 250 bottom end and running 350cc barells, I'm sure we have all seen that.

Apologies for the question, Ive worked more on RZ's than the early DS7, R5 and RD variants.

An abundance of tech info here, alot to digest.
