closed throttle lean. close airscrew a bit or bigger pilot jet.

I just picked up the 69 H1 with CDI ouch them plug wires bite hard adjusting the car carb Idle ! With it running.. orig mileage is 7200 ... electrics are 👍 going to buy an all in one ign box though... peace of mind commuting 👍

Wood like feels is a perfect description evn back on my old tx500 back in the 70's :)....So Mark are you saying a 13mm master feels better as I'm looking for a new master cyl for my 400 '''' just asking :)

I bought the 600 lb harbor frieght carrier and used it recently. worked fine easy to load and unload on the back of my f150...carrying my rd400.

Have you tried new spark plugs, I've seen where iffy plugs can fire late and even cause backfires... Just a thought.
