Great thread.. lots of good stuff.
But a question.. where do you order a set of Spec II pipes?
Their website has no link to order online.. do I have call them?
Also they list the black R5 pipes for $299. That's pretty cheap. Wondering if it's a old site and not updated.

HaHaHa!   :celebrate:   It's as if you went back in time!  The thing is it seems kinda plausible to a newbie like me, so it kind of sucks you in...

I think I've seen someone report the neighborhood of $850 for Classics.

SoCal250:  Thanks for the heads up on the other thread, I usually check all my unread posts so I thought I was covered!

Ok, I have failed to recognize these here.  FPP?  They are supposed to be off of a 400F Daytona.  Scraped Bondo on the underside of the right side.

Anybody know what they are?  Would they be good street pipes for my otherwise stock, 5500 mile survivor?

Price seems ok at $300.  Thanks in advance!

Astro!  Purpose built factory flat trackers.  Highly sought after.  I don't know how successful they were but Senor Bulto didn't seem to do anything half-assed.  Cemoto!   :burnout:

I have been hoping for an update on your trunkful of FE speed parts!
Nice job and congrats!

My two were delivered in good shape today.  I used to always take wiring diagrams to the library to make enlargements on the photocopier and then color the circuits I needed to follow.  Great to have one ready to go and bulletproof!

Nice ad and bonus oil pump too.  Thanks Evans!

All right, I can't resist the larger format and color!  RD400F Daytona wiring diagram and the 2 page Daytona ad if you've got one left, please.  PMing with address.  Thank You!

Wow!  That is very exciting!  I'm having similar trouble here.  It is great to see someone do it without spending anywhere near the $1300 the guy did that want's to sell you plans online.

I have a few questions, if you don't mind:

- Did the HF blaster nozzle work?
- What did you use for the slurry pump?
- Media?
- Any other essential tips?

Thanks in advance!  Chris

Thanks!

Judging from what I put in my amazon cart so I would remember, Chuck says Loctite 640 High Strength Sleeve Retainer.  Hopefully someone better at searching the site can confirm.  Posted this year, I bet.

  Great timing!   I spent a couple hours in vain last night trying to find the Vessel set I want in google searches.  Trying to avoid straight blades, but now am alerted to adding Long reach in #1 and #2, right?  Should I just substitute those for the regular length?  I am for sure getting the Impacta #2 and #3.
T handle too?  Any other suggestions?  I'm itchy to get going on my long slumbering 400F and these are at the top of the list.
  Thanks everyone and Economy!

This site is helpful, they have an app as well.  www.pure-gas.org/  It shows you a map of all gas stations that sell ethanol-free gas, its not perfect but helpful and shows what they are selling.

That is a great resource for road trips and is where I found the two stations within 10 mi. that I frequent.  Their price for 87 octane ethanol free is about $0.20/gal. more than E10 mid-grade.    Previously I went to a nearby distributor (now defunct) that sold 5 or 6 grades of race fuel and ethanol free premium which was still over twice the cost of pump premium and within spitting distance of their 100 octane leadfree.

Sadly, the www.pure-gas.org app is currently iphone only, and I'm back to android so I have to squint at the non-mobile site.
