I know this is a way different bike than the kz1100 I had very similar condition, carbs are mikuni BS34 diaphragm slide, ran well but would not settle into a normal idle.. the situation I had was a combo of leaking rubber carb mount and low speed mixture adjustment. Took quiet a few try's to correct. Lean mixture in the low speed circuit seems to be the culprit.

The seat look great, the whole bike looks great, is that the Texavina seat? How long did it take to arrive from Vietnam ? I think that's where they ship from.

Completely understand balance of time. Thanks for encouraging words, I have discovered that the kz1000 and kz650 triple clamps will work with my front end swap. Either one will produce more trail than the ninja 250 triple tree. This can be helpful in making it more stable at speed.

I wonder how soaking in MEK might do for them?  Soda blast will make them look like they have been vapor honed.

I have been distracted and not working on my 350, shame shame shame. I have spent today working out the mounting of the seat and various details. Need to work on the tank and pick a color for paint, I am getting tired of looking at primer. I only have myself to blame.

I used a soda blaster from Harbor freight , very gentle on aluminum.

Mark thanks for insight on nibbi carb, I purchased a PE22 for a xr80 , works so good. Went with smaller jet for stating point and bike started on second kick. Starts most of the time without choke, so cool
Like you said workmanship looks good.

Found a Suzuki A100 in good shape, I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this model?
