And those connectors sold from those vendors plug into stock yamaha connectors, correct?

Years ago I bought a few kits off Cycle Terminal. I beleive they are Yaziki 6.3mm (.250). The problem I'm having is they don't plug into the stock RD sumitomo connectors. Slightly different. I need a female 6 pin. The last one I cut off a stock RD harness and re-pinned it (the one with the 3 white wires), but now I need another.

Anyone got a source or name for a connector they know that fits? I would just replace both with yaziki but it's not an option in this case. And I can't find another harness to cut up atm. Kind of hard to tell from internet pics if they are "compatible". Thanks

The TDR was of interest to me. Rare to see around my area, and this one was a 2 owner, 8k original miles. Been stored indoors its whole life.

General Chatter / CVMG Paris Bike show 2-Strokes
July 02, 2022, 02:13:57 PM
A couple weeks back i went to the annual CVMG Paris vintage bike show. I go every year.

This year there were a TON of nice 2 strokes. Many on display and even more riding in. Seems every other person rolling up was on a RD/RZ/LC! I didnt walk around the parking lot to get pics of that lineup, but i did cover the grounds of the show and found a bunch of real nice bikes. Most of them are un-restored, low miles.

I dont really have anyone to show them to (GF doesnt seem to interested :umm: ), So enjoy...

Bitzz, i might just have to take you up on that offer. I will be in the Kawarthas July 22-24th!

I havent ben able to find a good used set of RD cylinders, the ones i have are too far gone for nikasil.

Another option for cylinders is Advance Sleeve. They can make a sleeve for anything you want. I just talked to them today, very responsive.

Ive got a set of RD400 barrels on the final bore, and a crank that needs a rebuild.

I talked to a place a couple years ago in Mississauga that does banshee cranks (KMM Powersports), didn't ask about the sleeves at the time...

Anyone got a source in Canada (preferably southern Ontario) that can do the work. Ive already got a line on sleeves from Advanced Sleeve.

I always get worried sending parts to an unknown shop...

Whats the general opinion on RD cylinder sleeving anyways? And are Banshee cranks "close enough" to an RD to use the shop? Thanks

Just seen the h1/RD250lc build. Same guy, huh... what a gem

I expected them to be more expensive, not bad for new options

I just bought one for some testing. I got the first one pictured off amazon Canada for $30 CAD.

It draws 1.2A at roughly 12V, meaning its within reason of the 15W rating.

Am considering tearing it apart to see if there is any thermal paste under the LED's.

Reading some build threads got me thinking... When i bought my bike the tank had a big dent and the lower triple stop was bent. Fixed tank, new lower triple, but what about the frame being straight?

How would one go about measuring such a thing on an RD?

Yamalube 2R (or S for inj.). Lots of guys in the KTM MX world use it.
