Cover holds the barrel in, carefully pry out the pressed in rivet. Take your time and it'll come out without trashing the cover. The barrel will then come out, and you'll find a spring behind that.
Easy peasy!

I can confirm the Yambits quick connect shuts off on both sides and has not leaked.

Here is another, this fits RD125, DT1 and others.

They kind of look like DT to me. These are from a 175 on Ebay.

The manual I have calls it the needle bearing on the end of trans main axle. The clutch pushrods goes through it.
I'd post a picture, but iPad photo res is to high.

I think you mean this guy:

This is the last case I split, it is pretty much right up to the ledge. I don't remember any clearance issues with this going back together. This was an RD, not an R5.

The yambits stuff is good. Some of the rubbers seemed a little big. I had to trim the battery box rubbers on my 400 to fit for example.

Their prices were good and they were good quality.

I agree, quality has been good. I had to trim the airbox mount rubbers to get it to fit on my RD350, but I'd rather have it too tight then too loose!

This makes me feel better about some of my projects.
I wonder how many years that thing sat under a pile of leaves?

Haus of Projects / Re: '73 RD350 "Grape Ape" restore
March 07, 2019, 01:23:50 PM
Wire harness was completely cleaned of dirt and spray paint. One terminal was replaced and ohm checks were good. Gauges were taken apart and cleaned. Fortunately the faces were good condition, I wanted to keep the '73 only with the individual tick marks. The repro faces are the later type that don't have this. Engine is next.

The bike is looking clean. Nice job!
Thanks Jedi.
Turn switch wires were all broken off and needed re-soldering. Everything was cleaned and critters evicted. More detail work to do, but pretty much done with these.

Howdy!
I was just discussing YSR's with my friend yesterday, he has an '88 basketcase I've been bugging him to put back together.

If there was no title and it cannot be titled, it would just be an expensive paperweight to me.
