So I had a guy come buy to look at buying my blue TZR250.

He liked the bike, but was turned off at the top & side panels being replacements.


Well, I am wondering, there are no other options for these, unless you find used & then fix & repaint them.

My buddy Came across this bike for sale.

I usually only look at stock bikes for investments
But wondering how this would do here in US.

TZR's still have parts you can find as well,
What about parts availability for these, and such

I have a fairing in which the decals are scraped up.
I have replacements to put on.

Does anyone have experience removing the old decals.
Does not appear they are clear-coated over.

Or just the normal finger nail & pull stuff.
Do they come off easily?

Found some old threads but nothing with codes, yet.

Need the paint code for the Red on a 1986, TZR250 2MA.

Any help would be great.

What do you do with the used oil from the motorbike, when replacing?

I use mine for the Chain Saw lube bottle system.

Any other uses?

So for this bike.
Does the engine need to be running for the headlite to come on?
Mine does not come on with the key & switch.
But it does come on when I press the Pass button.

Also manual states flasher relay up front, but can't find it.
Is it under tank, like always?

I've got a white gas tank, thst the clear coat has turned yellow.
Tried Ultra Cut Compound, but very little luck.
Is there anything more abrasive than that, that may work?

Or any other solutions?

There is an RZ Gauge cluster there that a FB person has for sale.

He will ship it to me. But wont let me pay via Paypal, even if I pay the fee.

So wondering if it is a scam.

But he did say someone can come by & pick it up.

If anyone is close, I can try & get full address

I recently picked up a Kendon double trailer.
PO bought a kendon chock & installed it in the center for (3) slots.

I was trying to fit (3)  bikes on this; RD's & RZ's.
I knew they would not fit, so I moved the center chock all the way forward.
I then moved the side chocks back about 6", and also about 4" more apart.

I put (3) bikes on it
They fit, but the center ones handlebars were still a little to close to the outer bikes fairings.

I went ahead & moved the outer chocks back another 5".
The fold up now rests on the side rear chocks
So I am yet to try this.
If it works I will weld on some more brackets to bolt them too.

I was searching for some RD tool kits.
For the OLD-Old bikes, and the RZ.

Saw that a RD350LC toolkit had a spanner wrench in it, in one web page.

Is this true, since it had a mono shock?
Or is this used for another purpose?

could not get the RZ to stay running this past weekend.
even on Prime

I went to go take carbs off to clean.
I found the vac tube was disconnected the Carb.

I assume the open port was sucking in air?

I replaced all lines & connectionS, but had the bike apart to clean.
So I did not try & start it yet.

This has probably come up in some other posts.

But when selling a bike, that is in pretty good condition:
Do you go all out purchasing some of the few items that are missing, or rashed up?

In my instance, a bike I am going to sell, is missing the Hi / Low Horns.
The grab rail has rash on it.  some of the rubber grommets are hard.
The seat cover is good, but had foam shaved off of it for a lady rider ( to allow her feet to touch the ground easier )
A few other small things as well.

Or do you just sell As-Is and let the new owner take care if it.

I guess, depending on the degree of what's needed, the price could be affected.
But where do you stop?
