You want stingers, I'll show you stingers! The skills required just to lay those out is amazing.

I definitely appreciate the merits of a stocker and would love to hear more about Mark's LC "estate". On the other hand you can have a somewhat (if noisy) Dr Jekyll and mr Hyde bike with pipes. After a bunch of tuning and messing around my RD is super smooth below the powerband, makes enough power to get ahead of traffic and is a riot on the pipe. Not saying there's no trade off but it's atleast okay in town now that it idles.

I seem to remember 120mm, no spring, compressed.

Touché. Would you like the 15,20,75 or 200hp version?

Bummer Ryan. I've never ran DGs but have ran pipes on an R5 that likely make similar power. I'd say that minus the center stand and/or side stand mods that you'd be hard pressed on a 4t to get these gains from a freaking pipe though... All things being equal I'd have a set of Spec 2s over DGs but if a centerstand is crucial, JL retros are available for cheap from time to time.
DGs= JL retros for performance
Spec 2>DGs for similar price... Graham's pipes might be even better for similar price as well...

Did you adjust the linkage at the pushrod? I forget what it is, tighten then back off an 1/8th...?

Are you running the oil pump? I've never had any fouling issues... weird it being so close to stock.

Always plan an escape route. "When this car does x, what's my move?"

Watch the wheels on vehicles about to pull into traffic. Often times you'll see the wheels move before the car.

I flash my lights if I see a vehicle that I question if they see me. It's less offensive than honking your horn.

Read twist of the wrist!

Remember you are a steward of motorcycles and don't be a douche. Always try to be respectful even if riding your two stroke hooligan machine!
