Turning Wrenches / No more Caswell?

Seems out of stock every where.

I have a tank I got off craig's list for pretty cheap. After giving it the evaporust treatment I found some pin holes. I was able to patch them from the outside with JB weld. It holds gas and doesn't leak but I'd feel more comfortable sealing the inside for prolonged contact with fuel. Anyone use the KBS system?

Quote from: SoCal250 on July 13, 2023, 10:28:01 PMNeeds some bits and lots of work but seems fair. Wonder if its still in the system or if any back fees?
Go get it!

the back fees concern me for sure. especially since the vermont dmv down fall. that $1700 could finance other projects. but there ain't many around especially locally.

This thread also reminds me I need to do something about a fork brace.  That RSW brace might work.  How well do the dust boots fit with it?  I at least see them on the bike in the pics.
[/quote]

I mounted my RSW brace like this, No modifications to the boot but I had to shim the brace to get a good fit on the fork tubes. Hope that helps.RSW fork brace.jpg
