Welcome!  There's a wealth of knowledge here and many experienced members willing to help.  This is the best damned forum on the internet!

Quote from: Evans Ward on November 03, 2023, 02:52:26 PMIt does look nice but zoom in on left side head as that's either damage or an optical illusion.

You're right.  Looks to me like the outside fin broke off and then was repaired.  If you can get it for $4,500 and buy a replacement head, you'd be sitting pretty though.  I do love that color.

There will always be a large portion of riders that want combustion engines, myself included.  Electric bikes are interesting, but I doubt I'll ever buy one.

Quote from: The Red Scourge on October 17, 2023, 08:58:29 PMThe Spec II website is still active as well.  His prices listed are from about 20 years ago though.  The website looks circa 2003 as well.

His web site has not be updated in more than 20 years. The copyright date of 1999 at the bottom of the page is roughly when it was last revised.

It's definitely a relic of an earlier time in the internet!

I guess there's something of a market for them since it's been bid so high.  For that kinda money, I'd be looking at an NSR or TZR.

Quote from: oxford on October 17, 2023, 05:37:09 PMJust putting this out there again, if anyone is wanting to do the design work for a set of chambers, I will offer the fab/weld work to get them done in exchange.

Come on Mark, you know you want to do a limited edition run of 2stroke world expansion chambers.  :clint:

:jaw:

That'd be awesome!

Seems kinda rough to me for $6,500 firm.  Is this where RZ values are now?
