IMHO, a rear rack is the most useful add-on to a daily driver. Add a long bungee wrapped around it and you can strap most anything to it.

"The guys in big pickups", although they have inexcusable driving habits, are quite often using a US highway to get back-and-forth between home and work. But they drive that way everywhere, not just on US129. I'd like to see the "rumble strips" between lane like they have done on part of US129 toward 441, down the center. Might upset handling for people over-cooking on 2 wheels though. I no longer take the road except in December through February nice days.

Nothing else that I can find posted so far. It's only an hour or so away for me.  May 15-22 2022 will be here before you know it! I've got to beat some dents out of my front fender, otherwise should be good-to-go.

I've not tried this, but something like (-cyclepartexpress) in your search line might work I know that -fits works well to filter out bogus hits.

Mid-summer, I rode the RD400c in to the weekly gathering. Meant to stop on the way in (~20 miles) but forgot. Figured I could do it on the way home. Got ~100 yards up the hill and she started to sputter - coasted into a station and added a gallon and a half of premium 10%. Topped off with premium pure gas with Stabil as soon as I got home!

Soft foam ear plugs work for me.

At one time (90's when I first went there), most fuel stations had pre-mix and diesel. Few had straight petrol. Then the 2T auto rickshaws were banned (at least, I saw and heard no more after ~mid-2000s). So, how do you oil them now? Injector or premix?

Just make sure you stay WIDE awake on that road. There is no telling what kind of rich idiot may be around the corner: https://www.thedrive.com/news/42824/ferrari-488-crash-shows-how-dangerous-tail-of-the-dragon-really-is?fbclid=IwAR1hvSdvOGckvyE-mDRxAUQSXQFC1Wai-OTcc0I5fUN0q0n71_2gTmaC9_4

Not mine, and I can't remember seeing it in person locally.

being as nobody has mentioned it, i will. just one thing to cross off your list is binding brakes  when a bike is slower for whatever reason i always check for brake binding first - if it's out on the road.
cheers, gil.
Yup!

The EFI 1986 GoldWing SEi used a high pressure pump almost identical (I used one to replace a failing OEM pump) to an automotive pump that you could pick up at a parts store for ~$109. But, you still need a fuel pressure regulator on the rail to circulate extra pressure back to the tank.

You are a TARGET. ATGATT works! Double the following distance you think that you need.

The LiPo idea might work well with am RC motor, controller, and ducted fan like they use on electric jet models. They have by design very strict weight limits.

That pressure should be good for 230 F if straight water (which I believe most tracks demand). Heat exchange to air is always a weakness, but I'm sure you already have a lot of air huffing through the radiators. Street races also require a lot of acceleration from slow corners, which would be heat builders. Heat up accelerating, then slow down for the corner just when the heat wants out of the block. My '77 GL1000 fans never came on except after a long 55 mph run followed by slow traffic. That heat builds up in the metal and still wants out. If weight and electric power is still in consideration, maybe bigger electric fans for the tight courses. I think you are working up a great little racer there that will alliw you to concentrate on building your skills as driver.
