I can't find a 90/90-18 RoadRider in stock anywhere, but I can find a 2.75x18 Streetrunner, has anyone used one of those?  Or should I go with the Bridgestone BT45?

The BT46 seems to be the standard if you can't get the Avon's or haven't worn out your BT46's yet.

I checked with Performance Tire last week and they had Road Riders in stock.  Hit me by email or phone and I'll check again.

Summit Racing has them.

Summit tells me shipping 6/12/20?  No one seems to keep them actually in stock, and Partzilla canceled my order saying that Avon is out of stock and not accepting backorders at this time.

Have you looked at the Conti attack classic?
18" RADIALS
Expensive, a bitch to install, but great tires

Sort of a side-line to OP's topic, but the mention or radials brings up some thoughts for me. Feel free to ignore in OP's best interest, but for those who race can we talk about the difference in bias ply and radial tires on bikes? I know in the car world bias ply are much easier to drive, they are just more forgiving in their slip angle. Ultimately, the best drivers achieve more from radials though as they are better structured and create more grip as a result. Do motorcycle riders experience the same?

Where have you checked for Avons?  Cycle Gear seems to have Roadrider MK II in stock. I would guess that the original Roadriders may be on the way out and therefore harder to find now.

The Avon site no longer lists the original RR model:

Suppliers have been out of stock in all business sectors as a result of the global shutdown. It is going to take some time for for manufacturing to catch up with demand and resellers to build their inventories again. Good luck!
