Anyone know if I can still buy new Spec2 chambers from Gary? If so do I call the old phone number on the old web site. I'm sure this has been asked a bunch of times but I have an engine that was built by Spec but the chambers were not with the buy.

I haven't heard that you can't still buy them. All of the info on the website is way outdated, here's his phone number. 818-837-1313

Yes, BUT, no pipes being made for 6 weeks as his welder is out of the country as of last week.
Always open the conversation with I would like to place a order for some pipes...is now a good time?

Don't mention anything about Unipods or yz125 reeds.

My conversations with Gary have always been positive and lengthy. I know he's been through a lot and we should be thankful he's still here to give us in my opinion what is the best pipes available for our RD'S.  :twocents:

Great, I just bought a set of Spec 2 chambers and I am indeed planning on using both Uni's and YZ 125 reeds. Glad he doesn't know  :haw:

I paid a total of 639.95 for my Spec II classics a year a half ago. That price includes their ride on the UPS dentmobile.

quocle603

The price isn't bad for decent chambers. It all depends on what you want out of your bike.

I did a lot of city riding and went back to my stock pipe for low/mid range. Prior to that, I had HVC chambers and I did a lot of highway riding.
