1975 Yamaha RD60B low-mile original - BaT - Lewiston, NY

(not mine) I've always wanted one of these.

Really nice low-mile RD60, but the serial number raises some questions. 
"...the frame and engine are stamped with the number 388-100001."  The "1" after the dash is correct for the 1975 model year, as is the Sunshine Red paint. Those both make perfect sense. However, all commercial units started with -xxx101 in that era. A 001 serial number is very peculiar.
