Clutch binding

Ok so I'm trying to button everything up after refreshing the rd350 engine. Everything spins nicely but as soon as I put the inner clutch basket on and tighten the nut it completely freezes everything up. I'm stumped, any ideas?

Thrust washer in wrong order? The thinner slightly larger washer goes between the inner and outer baskets. The thicker one behind the outer basket with the stepped side towards the bearing if you have the earlier stepped one.
