I'm considering a Hagon shock for my RD350LC project bike; a fellow on Facebook has one for $400, which seems reasonable. It has some ride height adjustment, preload and combined rebound/compression damping. What do y'all think of these features for this price? I only know of Hagon's reputation.

I put a Hagon on my TDR, and I have no complaints.

That said, all the guys on Norbo's UK LC forum swear by YSS shocks for the LC and RZ.

There are two versions, make sure you get the adjustable ride height one.

I have run Hagons on several twin shock bikes, including CB750s and a CB360.  I was happy with the performance on all of them.  They're a good midrange price point shock.

Same here. Hagon's on the RD really made a huge difference. Also will be bolting Hagon's onto my GT750.

I bought a set of Hagons for my 1972 Kawasaki H2 and they are worth the price.  :righteous: I don't have them currently installed and may see how they fit and feel on the GT750.  :umm:

Speaking of YSS, I rode my friends RZ350 a couple of weeks ago with a YSS monoshock and it is nice!  :clap:Less than $300 too!

That's two votes for YSS; maybe I'll pass on the Hagon. Thanks for the intel, gents

Another vote for YSS on an RZ although I haven't ridden the bike rebuilt bike yet. Maybe today. Maybe Evans snuck over and rode it before I did  :haw: Fit and finish on the shock is excellent.

About 2:50 in to this video if you want to check it out.

I have a YSS and also a Hagon on another bike.

Both work well, but my favourite lower priced shock has been a Wilbers one.  It has a lovely ride, yet is really supportive, if that makes sense.
