Battery Draining

So I have a bike, that every 3 - 4 days the battery is going dead.
so there is a short somewhere.
Or a part that is not working.

I will start at the battery & follow the wiring.
This topic has been posted before, so was there a common cause for this?

unplug the regulator and let it sit, check voltage in a few days. if they short internally can cause a drain. they are cheap and readily available as well. regulator/rectifier is on the RH side under the body panel on the sub frame. if that's not it, check the key switch.
