Curious on what swingarm your running? I'm also looking to upgrade the front brake caliper on my RD400F.

That swingarm is actually a DG that came on the Daytona I bought from a past forum member, Ron. It had been polished before I got it. Am I correct in saying that the DG swingers were gold when new? I think that's correct.

Yes, DG Performance swingarms were gold anodized.

A friend of mine just got this for $500 and he asked me to get it running for him. Didn't take much to get it fired up and after fixing the front brake he took it for a ride. He sure had a big grin when he came back.

$500?!  That's a crazy steal!  I keep seeing rusted, clapped out RD's listed for $1-2,000 these days.

I went with him a few days ago to look at it and he asked if he should buy it. Told him if he didn't he was going to have to help me get it in my truck. Still can't believe the guy only wanted 500 for it.

i know a guy had one of those setups on a 700 nighthawk. i mean.. i get it on a track bike but on a streetbike? no so much IMHO over a regular power jet ad-on. but its a neat kit.
