Wow,now that is some serious commodity pricing. I guess if you take the seller for their word stating "original and untouched"...talk about blowing some smoke

BTW thanks again for the help with my 75' RD250 wiring issue, I don't ride her much but took a spin on her after work today and it felt great. Bike's more sorted than ever...A little this and a little that. Total work in progress and looks way more barn fresh original than that bike listing ever will. Still sorting the jetting but plugs look great despite knowing that she runs rich on the main although I did change to smaller jets(155)...Yeah I know that's way too fat... and still gotta ways to go. At least I can focus on that with the wiring/ ignition squared away. I even got a new set of Shinko 712's for her...so stoked. Currently the best hop on and ride bike in my stable.

The 2016 Superduke GT needs it's overdue 18k service that the stealership quoted at 2k   to do as well as my gsxr1000 needs it's overdue  14k service that once again the stealership wants a Arm and leg to do.  So I guess I need to just roll up my sleeves and teach myself how to check valve clearances. fuckin metric four strokes with loads of bodywork built like legos suck....and I work way too much so I drink too much. :guinness: Don't even get me started on how I live in the wrong part of the country (Ma).

Back in the late 1990's, I went to an auction in Minnesota at the Sportwheels Yamaha dealer & salvage yard (Sportwheels was the largest salvage yard in the Midwest), and towards the end of the sale there was a line of eleven, mostly complete and a few ridable orange 1975 RD350's, some with titles and all were rollers, they were selling as a single lot. The winning bid was $450 for them all.

I only had a van, and it was packed with a nice YD3 for $650, and a YDT1 for $500, and piles of parts; no way could I move that volume of bikes, and at the time they were mostly worthless (like CB350's), so I wondered what the buyer would do with such a pile of debris - hindsight...
Of Course It's Gonna Make Some Noise - There's GAS Exploding In There!
