I've been to the EBR facility in East Troy, but I don't know anyone from that area.

I eventually want to get to the meet-up at Deals Gap, but for now The Crud is it for me. I've seen videos by Cycle Drag - and it looks like a whole lot of fun!

Do you know someone from WI by the name of Joe Puccio? He's a 2-stroke guy, and I believe he regularly attends the Deals Gap meet. He's a friend of a friend, but I don't personally know him.

I really like everything about small 2-stroke street bikes!

Yes, sadly that is basically the situation with all JDM bikes that are brought in. Megazip is one place you can possibly still get parts...Covid wiped out the backstock of many vintage JDM bikes sadly.

Thanks for the tip about Megazip. They seem to have most of what I need so far.

I'm thinking the TZR I bought was kind of a parts bike. I knew the fairings were wrong, but it started and ran decent. It had no air filter elements, and I'm now thinking the impeller seal is bad, which would mean a complete takedown. There are other things that don't add up as well, and the odometer reading can't be correct.

I have some testing to do on the impeller seal, but I'd be surprised if that wasn't the issue.

I had water pump seal go bad on mine. Generally from rust on the shaft, then it tears up the seal, then water gets in the trans. Yea, the trans has to come out...

Not sure how I will go about it, as it could be a little over my head to get that far into it.

Wow, East Troy is my hometown! It's very small. I'd say about 90 minutes from Madison.
