i am considering purchasing Rd400 side panels for my 350 project
is it a direct fit or do i require some modification

and why are they more expensive than the RD350 side panels?
im buying a RD400 tank and getting a good deal on the side panels

not even a close fit. you'll be fabbing.

why not run the 350 panels?

I thought it would look cool to go for the 400 look since I'm getting the tank
But I don't want to get in the hassle of fabrication .

I'll keep it simple and go for the 350 panels then

I have a 400 tank fitted to my DS7 with RD350 side panels. In my opinion, they don't look mismatched at all...

What is that you are running for a front fender, is it the stock one cut down?

Thanks, I couldn't tell from the image if it was a brace or a chopped down fender off something else.

Chuck is correct. It's a "Vintage AHRMA Fork Brace"... or so the eBay ad said :P
I had to tweak it up a bit to get it to fit right though.
