I need to order some tires, most likely bt45's.  Wondering where I have the best chances of getting some fairly fresh ones vs ones that have been sitting.  Like everyone else I also want the best price possible.  :dawg:

For me I just use the obvious choice of Revzilla. You can probably find cheaper, but it's easy and I've always had fresh tires delivered.

local shop, matches online pricing and checks date codes. he has hi rep trained to make sure they are fresh or he returns em.  Im lucky to have a shop like that locally. Also, he mounts and balances for like 20 bucks with wheel off bike. score.  :cheerleader:

I bought the Avons for the 400 from BikeBandit, good price and shipped quick.

I too go to the local shop. Even if I pay a bit more I don't mind as it's convenient to have a local shop for many reasons. Also, I hate mounting tubed tires and they do it for a fraction of the frustration.

I don't buy a lot of tires, but when I do, I use tiresunlimited.com
Always got them promptly or they called me if not in stock or backordered when I did online ordering.
They do have a direct phone # if are concerned with date codes.
I didn't worry that much on streetbikes.

Thanks for the replies.  I don't actually know if there is a decent local MC tire shop around or not although my schedule mostly limits me to the internet anyways.  $20 for mounting and balancing is money well spent in my book, wrestling tires onto rims is not usually a highlight of my day.

Chuck, thanks for that link.  Looks like the prices are pretty good, I will most likely give them a try.
