Mating 2 engine cases rd400

When mating the two engine cases
Do you apply yamabond/ crank seal on Both cases or just one?

Generally you only apply the bond to only one case.  One time I had a pair of bad cases and had to apply it to both sides.  Those cases were slated for replacement after that rebuild.

I only applied to One case, should be enough, but doubt keep creeping in Especially When its my first engine build 😁
